DAFZA is a Dubai free-zone business community beside Dubai International Airport. Its official setup material presents it as a destination for startups, established companies and foreign-company branches across a wide range of activities. The same official page says the community has more than 3,400 registered businesses across more than 20 sectors and more than 20,000 professionals, so this is an established operating environment rather than a license-only address.

DAFZA lists Trade, Service, Industrial, General Trading, Single-Family Office, Multi-Family Office, Dual Licence with DET and Talent Pass routes. A Trade License covers importing, exporting, re-exporting, distributing and storing specified products; DAFZA also describes an e-commerce option for trading goods and services online. This gives operating businesses a published route beyond a conventional office where handling, light industrial activity or temperature-controlled storage is relevant. A DAFZA license is not, on its own, a conclusion that no Corporate Tax is payable. The UAE government says Corporate Tax applies to businesses and individuals conducting business activities under a commercial license in the UAE. It also says the regime continues to honour incentives for free-zone businesses that comply with regulatory requirements and do not conduct business set up in the UAE mainland.
